Rebate Processor - Is It A Real Way To Work From Home
November 30th, 2008
One of the popular work at make money online companies that has hit the market is called Rebate processor jobs. The basic concept of this companies is they pay you to process rebates. It sounds like a great deal doesn’t it, you can process rebates at home and earn $15.00 for each one that you complete. As appealing as this sounds there is more to it than just processing rebates.
If you go to the website of one of these new companies they make it seem like all you are doing is filling out forms when people ask for a refund. Once the refund is done they will send you a payment of at least $15. The reality is not quite like that.
rebate processor is data entry work from home work. Here is where the deception happens. Companies that promote rebate processor jobs are not hiring you to work online for them and then pay you by the piece. Instead how they operate is they teach you how to advertise products online. In their education programs they teach you how to write ads to advertise these products - in your ad you will offer a “rebate” when someone buys the product.
Usually the rebate is for $8 on a $49 product. When that product sells you usually receive a $23 commission minus the $8 rebate you offer making you $15.
So in reality the rebate processor jobs are not really what they say they are - but they are a creative way to sell products online. Often these products have many people selling them so a creative ad like “I’ll give you $8 to buy this product” will cut through the clutter. Rebate Processor jobs are more like rebate processor or affiliate marketing than processing rebates.
Be careful when looking for rebate processor jobs as not all are created equal. Some provide top quality training and some are out right scams. Look for a solid members website in the program you are interested in joining. A good membership site will post many great free sites that allow you to post your ads for free - so you can make money online with this program by not spending anything more than the small fee for access to the training and members area. For those that have a mid level of experience online there is no need for you to join these programs, as there is not much new information.
Despite the sometimes seemingly false advertising methods they use rebate processor jobs are a legit way to make money online - it is unfortunate that they are not 100% clear on how the program works on their website until after you pay the small fee for the training.
